Preparing for an outside project, giving the viewer an idea of the scale of what will be. First the drawing on the left and then the last drawing in preparation of the final price of artwork.

Artistic background

I am a self taught artist although I showed a great deal of interest in art classes through out my secondary schooling. I have used and adapted many different types of medium including pen and ink drawings, water colours, oils but usually this day and age I use acrylics on canvas.

Quote

I have over the years been able to adapt to many themes. landscapes, cityscapes, wildlife (some of which I have supplied to wildlife parks). Pets, seascapes and portraits. I suppose this makes it fair to say that I am an all rounder and can usually turn my hand to anything.
I am at present working on a private commission for an ocean going boating and diving enthusiast. The finished outcome will be acrylics on a 90 centimetres x 60 centimetres boxed canvas.
I recently produced a large canvas which is permanently on display in a village of high historical interest on a South Devon Coast. This I had a limited edition of only 100 prints made which I intended purposely for local inhabitants and regular visitors. This caused a lot of interesting conversation topics and are selling very well.

Interests

My interests are not only art orientated, I like to dabble about playing the saxophone which I cannot read a single musical note. I seem to be able to put a few tunes together just by listening and picking it up. Only thing here though is it probably makes the listeners ears bleed. Often I'm told "Stick to your painting Tony"
Another great love of mine right from the age of 14 years old, is the sexy combo of a leather jacket, jeans and motorbikes. There's just something about the image, male or in my case especially female. You just sit astride a 750cc, zip up that jacket, start and listen to that beautiful sound of the engine purring and away you go.
This can sometimes be seen in my artwork.
