Artistic background

I am an artist based in Suffolk. I’m inspired by the power and beauty of nature and also have a particular interest in the study of people as a subject matter.

When I paint I want to capture a moment in time, encouraging the viewer to make a connection between mind and heart, between thought and feeling. I work from my studio overlooking topiary gardens and the countryside beyond.

Throughout the years I have supported various charities with my work, in particular The Brain Tumour Charity.

I have had several portrait commissions and have exhibited my work at the following:

Pond Gallery Snape Maltings,
The Suffolk Show Trinity Park,
St Mary’s Art Exhibition Debenham,
The Ballroom Gallery Aldeburgh,
St Mary’s Art Exhibition Higham.

I am represented in private collections in England, France, Spain Australia and French Guiana.
