I trained at The Arts University in Plymouth UK. Since then I have become an established artist mainly using acrylics.My work is an important element of my life and influenced by events and conversations which trigger ideas for my subject matter. This leads to an eclectic portfolio of work both in subject matter and colour palette.
I have exhibited extensively throughout the UK and have curated group exhibitions.
My work is represented by galleries in my local area.

I live with my partner Fabio, who is Italian and my little dog, Lily. I also help to look after my 13 year old granddaughter, Lola, who stays with me during term time. As you can imagine this keeps me busy.I paint every day in my home studio whilst my granddaughter is at school, with breaks to walk Lily, who is a very well behaved studio dog as she is a very lazy little pooch!
At weekends, English weather permitting, we like to go to the beach, which inspires my seascapes. Another treat is to go to the theatre.
