Dharmishta Patel is a watercolour artist who loves creating artwork that instantly evokes strong emotional experiences. Her art, comes from the soul and she strives to communicate her feelings through her art and hopes that it resonates with others.Dharmishta is sometimes driven by intuition, resulting in fluid unplanned creations. These pieces demonstrate her natural aptitude of watercolour and an adoption of these creative techniques.
"My passion for art is deep and only now I have the opportunity to share it with you. I'm very grateful to have some of my pieces displayed at my local Art Gallery and local Library; fostering community and spreading cultural awareness. I joined ArtGallery in March 24 and I love creating thought provoking scenic pictures of land, sky and sea. I hope you enjoy my work."

Interests
I enjoy using watercolours to create hard and soft edges and strong vibrant pastel effects. In addition, I sometimes experiment with gouache to create a more striking appearance. My work is driven by my personal experiences, imagination and the outdoor beauty. I enjoy writing poetry, love nature and spending time with family.I recently took part in the Sutton Parks 'Landscape Artist of the Year' Competition and received 'CERTIFICATE OF MERIT' for my on the spot, watercolour painting of my local Park; wonderful community event!
