Ewa Dura

Hello! I'm Ewa Dura - a painter, an illustrator and also a sculptor (small forms).
I usually look for artistic inspirations among themes, whose sources can be found in distant cultures and traditions. Light, Nature (of reality), Myth - these three themes define the main area of my artistic search.
These are three secrets themes (arcana), which I explore carefully.
Light, in its visible and invisible dimension.
Nature (of reality), in its various animate and inanimate manifestations.
Myth, that brings with it multiplicity and multilayered images and meanings.

In my artistic work, I often using strong colors, ornament and decorativeness to emphasize selected elements. I also values contrast - in this case, especially I liked minimalism, black and white, where color appears sporadically - as a counterpoint.
In my artistic peregrinations, I'm looking for solutions in unlimited, creative imagination and imaginery space.
Subject of imaginary space, I also take up in my theoretical, and literary works.
