Description
Wow! This collectable semi abstract captures the Matterhorn's attitude. Beautiful, beckoning yet formidable. Jan Peters ( finalist for artist of the year 2024) specialises in painting on acrylic glass and this is one of her latest pieces.
Truly striking and different this piece makes fascinating impact. It is painted in acrylics and metallic on the back of the "picture glass" itself. This captures the translucent feeling of morning light striking the mountain face with the glint from the ice and viweing through the glass subtly changes with different light conditions keeping the viewers interest. The reflections enhance and enlarge your room space.
The dramatic painting is edged with specially cut stainless steel and mounted onto 5mm white gloss Perspex which is cleverly fitted to hang conventionally.
The acrylic glass used has a higher optical clarity than glass and is resilient and UV protected so the painting can be even be displayed in suuny areas or kitchens and bathrooms.
Refreshing new take and highly investable.
