Description
I tried to capture the energy of a wave. In this semi-abstract watercolor painting, I combined elements of abstraction and representation to depict a wave crashing on the serene beach where I sometimes take my morning walk.
I wanted to emphasize the power and force of a wave. The watercolor medium allows colors to blend and bleed, adding a sense of fluidity and movement to the scene. I used colors ranging from deep blues and greens to sparkling whites, capturing the different shades and textures of the water.
I hope I managed to capture the power and beauty of nature, while leaving room for personal interpretation and emotional connection.
I painted on 140 ibs, cold pressed, watercolor paper, using White Nights professional watercolors.
Being aware of the need for recycling, I re-use shipping materials whenever possible. The packaging will not be too cute but it will protect the painting very well, it will be robust, so that the package reaches you intact.
