I believe animals possess a soul and unique character, and in this artwork, I’ve captured cat’s essence by adorning him with a gentleman’s hat and tie, expressing his dignified yet whimsical nature. Oil pastels were my medium of choice because they allow me to quickly and intuitively convey my emotions, giving life to the textures and vibrancy of cat’s fur and the warmth of his expression.
