No. 7 Legends Drawing

This piece celebrates one of the most iconic numbers in football and in sport. The No.7 shirt for the English football club, Manchester United, is steeped in history and some of the most famous, iconic and influential footballers have adorned the shirt over the last 60 years.
The most iconic players to wear the No.7 shirt, personally, are George Best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo. These players have had a legendary influence on the club and the sport in general with their status as legends confirmed. The aim of this piece is to showcase this and celebrate it.
This original work is completely hand drawn with meticulous detail over many many hours. The swathes of red tones give it a glowing vibrancy which will hopefully make it a stand out piece in any art collection.
