So refreshingly different and unusual. A large centrepiece painting on the back of the acrylic glass itself. This surreal underwater scene inspires happiness. Painted in acrylics and metallic in Jan Peters' distinctive hallmark style. ( a finalist SAA abstract Artist of The Year).
"3 Reasons" has a sprayed silver semi reflective background. It is integrally and minimalisticly displayed on a solid 5mm gloss white Perspex frame. The reverse painting is set off with laser cut 2mm stainless steel trim. (An inside out picture , which adds to its depths and fascination, as what appears to be the picture glass is in fact the painting itself). The acrylic glass is UV treated and the piece can be hung in sunny spaces or in more humid areas. The back of the frame is fitted with white wooden bars so the substantial piece can be stylishly hung flush to the wall by simply using wall nails (or conventionally using the hanging cord). Artist signed on the the painting. Truly unique and quite simply not seen elsewhere!
