Description
This is a village called Cervo in Liguria, Italy that is one of the officially voted prettiest villages in Italy. The typical narrow alley going between the pastel houses is only wide enough for these 3 wheeler little vans called ‘Ape’ that in italian means bee, due to the buzzing noise of the engine.
It was painted ‘plein air’ outside during a day that many artists took part with the theme of the ‘colours of peace’ in the village, this I tried to put all the colours of the rainbow.
The painting is Winsor and Newton watercolour paints on cold pressed, acid free, 300gsm watercolour paper. Ready for your own choice of mount and frame, the paper is A3 size as detailed below. The original artwork comes with my signature on the front and a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
The work is also shown with a mount and frame but this is for illustration purposes only. The room simulation photo may not represent the actual scale of the painting - check the dimensions given here.
