A contemporary piece of work simulating a meadow of newly hatched flower buds popping into life. By using different paint consistency the various shades of green, yellow and blue project a subtle difference in shade and texture.

Finest oil paint on box canvas, mixed media used to form a textured effect. Edges are not painted, I prefer a white boundary on deep edged canvases.
