Description
This is a well known local landmark in Northumberland where a sycamore tree is found in the gap in the Hadrians wall. It is also known as The Robin Hood tree from featuring in a prominent scene in the 1991 film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. It also won the 2016 England Tree of the Year award. I was fascinated by this in a calendar I was given and researched it from various images to paint this picture.
The painting is Winsor and Newton watercolour paints on cold pressed, acid free, 300gsm watercolour paper. Ready for your own choice of mount and frame, the paper is A3 size as detailed below. The original artwork comes with my signature on the front and a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
The work is also shown with a mount and frame but this is for illustration purposes only.
