Description
What Lies Ahead?
A beautiful landscape nearing the end of summer when the trees are clad in many colours and many birds especial trly the insect and fruit eaters have taken the long, dangerous journey to warmer climes until the spring. A scene from a relaxing walk in the country inspiring thoughts of future renewal and a brighter future.
The painting is in soft creams, browns and yellows and in parts of the painting a technique of scumbling has been used, which involves applying paint with a dry brush as each layer dries until the desired effect of texture and luminosity is achieved. The painting has taken several weeks to complete.
The sides are painted white so further framing is not necessary and it is varnished to protect against dust and UV light. It comes, signed and dated on the back and initialled on the front by the artist, with a Certificate of Authenticity.
It will be despatched quickly by a Next Day Courier service, so that you know when to expect it to arrive. Alternatively you can have it delivered to your workplace.
