My aim was to capture the essence of Spring. For me the apple green and peach collaboration of colours reflect this time of year perfectly, and what else could I pick for a subject matter other than a branch of blossom to depict Springtime at it's most beautiful.

Finest oil paint on box canvas, mixed media used to form a textured effect. Edges are not painted, I prefer a white boundary on deep edged canvases.
