I collect plums from a beautiful orchard to build up my winter store every summer. The boughs are usually laden to breaking point.
I painted this watercolour using my photos as a reference as well as samples of the fruit from life..I love the natural grace of the trees and the deep rich velvety colour and texture of these delicious plums
This is a colourful botanical study of the fruit on the tree.
The painting has my signature on the front, along with the name of the fruit.
