Connection Acrylic

This abstracted painting of two figures is based on a few colours, with dominating green. For me connection between a parent and child is vital to the child's holistic development. A child (a developing individual) needs to feel safe to express, to question, to rebel, to push against boundaries, in order to build resilience and self-reliance. As parents we pay to do this job, we are pushed and pulled in all directions, there's no manual, and in the early stages there's hardly any appreciation. How fascinating! :) This painting, in it's calming green tones, celebrates the strength of parents!
