Description
Postage Stamp Collage
This picture is composed of approximately 3000 used postage stamps which are available in a huge range of colours and designs. The picture was created on quality deep edge canvas and is varnished twice and has a coat of U.V. protection. The stamp colours are not altered and post marks are still visible on close observation. It is not framed and should not be displayed in direct sunlight.
Love it or hate it we recognise the Marmite bottle, the Marmite taste and above all the Marmite smell. In this Pop Art rendering the bottle colour remains the same. Its lid and background are green and primary colours. The label indicates a play on words suggesting again the love/hate relationship with the viewer. Love =Yeast attract or feast extract, Hate= Least extract and Beast extract. Whether it’s decorating your office, lounge or kitchen wall it will undoubtedly cause comment.
