Description

River Beaulieu in the New Forest, Hampshire. Impressionist, landscape, Plein air started, studio finished oil painting. It took me too seasions to finish the painting. Started outdoor on the spot, finished couple of weeks later in my studio.

Painting is made on stretched canvas, 14x18 inches (35,6x46 cm)
primed with 3 layers of high quality gesso and 1 layer of GOLDEN GAC 100 primer to prevent sinking of colour over the time, where pigment would otherwise loose the crisp look due to loss of oils contained in the paint. That will ensure the bright and fresh appearance of oil paint over the long period of time.

All my paintings are always treated with thin layer of protective varnish after they dry. and it is signed and sold unframed. All materials are archival.
