I love this ancient house in Hemingford Grey, near St Ives, Huntingdon, with its beautiful gardens that have been in tender care for nearly 1000 years. The textured brickwork bespeaks many years of weathering, in contrast to another hot summer day's sharp fresh forms and colours.
