Description

Im often told that my paintings are like windows or doors where you look at the scene as if viewed through one of them. As I do not actually plan any of my paintings, allowing intuition and emotion take me where they will, this is a window painting. A sun setting.
The painting began with me spraying gold acrylic paint all over the paper, paint is applied over the gold and partially removed until it becomes "right" in the way it feels. The blue window frame is pastel fixed to avoid smearing.
