WINDSWEPT Oil

Above the cliff top, the tall grasses sway in the breeze from the sea below. Inspired my long walks along the pathways at the end of the day, as the sun sets. Painted in oils on a deep sided canvas, with the sides painted to tone, and ready to hang immediately, without the need to frame, With an unusual palette of greens/ blues and lemon yellows with dark browns. The brush work is of smooth glazes together with multi layered palette knife work giving a expressionist 'looseness' and to depict atmosphere and the emotion of this windswept vista.
