‘The Mysterious Sea By Night’ Acrylic

This canvas was primed firstly with gesso for a smoother finish.
I took a deep blue paint to represent the night skies and painted that on three times to add more depth, colour is Phthalo Blue.
Lastly I took pale blue and white to create waves and applied dollops of acrylic to give it a 3D look. This is a little memory I had from when I was on a boat one night travelling from Mallorca to Alicante.

Lastly I varnished this canvas to protect it from dust and debris and to give it a lovely sheen. The sizes are painted with detail too.

I sign the back of the canvas and you receive a certificate of authenticity.
