Description
This linocut shows a view of a flying buttress and part of the tower of the Cathedral in Rochester which dates from 1080. The linocut was produced using the technique of carving into a sheet of linoleum to obtain a relief surface then printed over a mono-print from a glass plate.
The image is A3 size and printed with a pressure roller using Winsor & Newton Artists’ Oil Paint with Sennelier Gel Medium on 160gsm Fabriano Ingres Ghiacco Paper, sold unframed. Due to the process this is an original artwork. The prints are rolled and packaged in a hard protective tube for delivery.
