Shards 002 2023 Acrylic

One of the larger canvasses from a new set of works comprising a deeply layered series of large canvasses built up of intermittent spurts of fluid creativity mixed with more considered geometric line placement and composition. These pieces utilise spray, acrylic, pen and gouache. The Shards series truly lays bare the creative process on the canvas. These works originated from a hundred photos taken above, in, around and under the numerous glass fronted office buildings of central London
