Oban Sunset Texture Acrylic

Oban, Gateway to the Highlands of Scotland has inspired many of my sunset paintings over the years and continues to do so. The rich colours of the sunset and reflections of the water really inspire me. Texture plays a big part in this painting both in the sky and in the water making it a very tactile painting which shimmers from all angles thanks to the use of gold metallic colours with the dark of the boats and St. Columba's Cathedral offering contrast to the sky.
The painting is an original artwork from the artist’s own reference material and is created on a stretched canvas and is corded ready for hanging.
The painting is original and signed on the lower right corner. The painting will be supplied with a certificate of authenticity. In the UK the item will be sent using Royal Mail Signed for First Class and will be securely wrapped for safe transit.
