Description
One of our redundant churches, Saxon in origin. The village was moved in the c18 by the local landowner because it was too close to his house. They could do that in those days. This church became redundant, as a new one was built in the new village
Beautiful old church with fine wall paintings showing St Christpher which somehow escaped the attention of the iconoclasts. Also a delightful chapel by Pugin
