FULL GLORY Oil

Inspired by the tremendous waves that can reach enormous heights and transparency as they roll crashing to the shore. The translucency of the water as it thins has an inspiring effect on the colour, the form and just for a moment is another chance to see the magic of the formidable ocean in a new light.
Smooth blended glazes of brushwork is combined with richly textured palette knife work to suggest movement and depth as this piece strives to depict the atmosphere of bluest ocean wave.

Painted in oils on a deep sided canvas, toned to match. There is no need for a frame and the painting can be hung immediately in the contemporary way.

The palette is of blues, emerald green for the inside of the wave and lashings of tones of white for the foam and the spray. The painting is blended to a smooth finish up to the point of the wave crashing then texture has been added as necessary to give form to the foam, as it settles towards the shore. 37x29 x1.5 inches.

The painting is signed on the back and numbered, with Elizabeth's logo on the side profile and will arrive with a Certificate of Authenticity for the same.
