Description
Illustration of my poem “A lesson in insobriety”
I regret all the drugs I’ve never taken
The relationships too complicated
You can only come up if your already down
Shivering intoxication
The great binge of the forgotten nation
Drink was our only holy cow
Straight edge needs replacing
Sober it’s too complicated
A small mind but a big wow
The empty seat needs an occupier
Dead head commuted liar
Heavy is the head that holds the frown
Empty my purse into my hearse
No more drinks to nurse
They are all behind me now
