Sentinels of the Sunset
Watercolour and acrylic on paper
Sentinels of the Sunset is a beautiful watercolour and acrylic landscape, which I painted on mixed media paper.
I created a detailed and colourful rocky outcrop, looking out at a stunning red,
gold and purple sunset. The pigments I used for the sunset blend to create a serene, calm effect in the work.
I created the rocky outcrop with many thicker layers of acrylic paint to create the strong, stoic forms.
The painting has my signature on the front, and on the back my name with the paintings title, date and dimensions.
All paintings are securely packaged in acid free tissue paper, cellophane, ridged cardboard and one inner card backed envelope and one outer padded envelope.
