Description

A bold abstract still life using blocks of contrasting shapes to suggest vessels and fronds. The name comes from the fresh, zingy shades of yellow, which feels very summery. I have used oil glazes over acrylic, with charcoal and oil bars to add a layer of interest. The picture continues over the edge of the deep canvas, which can be hung unframed if desired.
