The painting is in sap greens, browns and yellows and in parts of the painting a technique of scumbling has been used, which involves applying paint with a dry brush as each layer dries until the desired effect of texture and luminosity is achieved. The painting has taken several weeks to complete.
The sides are painted white so further framing is not necessary and it is varnished to protect against dust and UV light. It comes, signed and dated on the back and initialed on the front by the artist, with a Certificate of Authenticity.
