Description
I was loving the party
I wanted to dance
To go with the flow
And dabble with chance
You gave me the wine
And showed me the pill
You said 'It's not my fault
if it makes you feel ill'
The shrug of your shoulders
The wide cheeky grin
I smiled as I took it
With my red wine and gin
And then I was floating
Your face was a blur
Mouth was moving
And words were a slur
The colours were bright
The music was loud
The chanting and wailing of a far distant crowd
And then there was NOTHING and the whole world stood still
I don't know how I got here but I will die on this hill
Then my eyes were wide open
And there it was I could see!
Far above and beyond me
I was completely and utterly free
You smiled as I finally saw you
"I was worried you seemed so still"
You took my hand looked me in the eye
"My friend you took the red pill"
