VENETIAN LAGOON Watercolours

This atmospheric scene is of the sun dawning on a tiny island in the Venetian lagoon. The ruins are of the 18th century church called Madonna del Monte, after which the island is named. It is one of over 100 islands in the waters around Venice, many threatened by the rising waters and boat traffic.
The painting is Winsor and Newton watercolour paints on cold pressed, acid free, 300gsm watercolour paper. Ready for your own choice of mount and frame, the paper is A3 size as detailed below. The original artwork comes with my signature on the front and a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
