Walking Through Barley Oil

The idea for Walking Through Barley is based on a large nearby field. There is a path across the field but it is not much used and the barley crowds in as one walks through it. The sensation of the barley swishing past and rattling is very calming. There was a rather wonderful streaky sky, the afternoon was quite hot and still. Walking Through the Barley is ready to hang unframed , some colour from the composition stretches over the edges to give a soft line when it is hanging on a wall . Signed in pencil bottom right, titled signed and dated on the reverse. Shipped carefully packed in a box dispatched with a track and trace identity.
