Summer Ballooning Oil

This colourful summer sky original oil painting is inspired by photos I took in the summer of 2016. Pretty hot air balloons, including one sporting the Fortnum & Mason logo, floated over my home village.
The sky was clear blue so I added clouds for texture and to create a sense of distance.
I have been up in a hot air balloon, you feel akin to a bird, conscious of the elements and in limbo from the earth.
If you get a chance to go up in one, take it!

The painting is 24 x 18 x 0.5 inches and the stretched canvas is lightly varnished.
The sides are painted blue and the work can be hung unframed with picture hanging fittings in place.
A certificate of Authenticity signed by myself accompanies each original.
