Description
On travelling on the main road between Jodhpur and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan ,India I was struck by the large number of women walking between the villages carrying goods & water. . A visit to Jaisalmer is a journey back in time .
This painting is sourced from several photos I took . It is in acrylic and on prepared fibreboard with a Matt varnish .
The painting was shortlisted in the monthly painting competition run by Stratford Upon Avon Art Society .
