Red Sail Action – Thunder Ocean Oil

‘Red Sail Action – Thunder Ocean’ oil painting with mixed media (he title was inspired by ‘Red Sails’ by David Bowie.) The seascape is partly deconstructed with drips and smudges of paint - influenced by Jackson Pollock, Christopher Wool and Cy Twombly. The main colours are predominately sapphire blue and sea-green-teal. The surface of the painting is textured. There are vessels in the sea: a tug boat; red oriental sails and a ghostly battleship (see details in images.) The materials used to create the painting are oil paint and mixed media on a deep edge box canvas. The painting is ready to unwrap and hang, or it can be taken to a professional framer for a specially made canvas frame if preferred. The painting is signed on the front and on the back by artist Cyndy Cmyth, and it is sent with a Certificate of Authenticity.
