Description
This is a modern botanical bird wildlife detailed watercolour of the iconic Black Parrot feeding on jamalac fruit.
The black parrot is endemic to Seychelles, residing chiefly in and around the World Heritage Site of The Vallee de Mai on the island of Praslin.
I painted this using photos of a group of parrots that came to feed in a Jamaica tree at daybreak in 2019 at Cote d'Or.
Watercolour painted on The Langton 140lb CP fine grain watercolour paper.
The painting size is 19 x 15 inches and is unmounted and unframed
A certificate of Authenticity signed by myself accompanies each original.
