Description
This is the unique acrylic and objects painting on canvas. The style is defined by sculptural use of paint. It is 3-D, built-up mixture of many layers of thick gesso, paint, sand and other materials.
I'm inspired by the structure of Jupiter's Moons. This one was inspired by the surface of the satellite called Praxidike. It was discovered by a team of astronomers from the University of Hawaii led by Scott S. Sheppard in 2000. It was named in August 2003 after Praxidike, the Greek goddess.
Finished with a glaze of UV varnish to protect against sunlight and dust damage. This artwork is signed and dated on the back. A signed Certificate Of Authenticity will be included with the artwork. Edges are painted so it doesn't require any frame.
Size: 80 H 80 W x 2 cm, 31.5" x 31.5" x 0.8"
