BUTTERMERE LAKE Watercolours

One of the most popular scenes areas for visitors is the shore at the eastern end of Buttermere Lake at Gatesgarth in the beautiful Lake District where there is a little white cottage. It was a cloudy day in spring and the fields behind the cottage were a verdant green. Always a photogenic scene at any time of the year and this was a lovely scene to sketch and paint.
The painting is Winsor and Newton watercolour paints on cold pressed, acid free, 300gsm watercolour paper. Ready for your own choice of mount and frame, the paper is A3 size as detailed below. The original artwork comes with my signature on the front and a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
