McCullock's painting explores and celebrates vibrant rich colours . Innovative use of mixed media and much layering of pigments and washes are used to create magical colours and shapes.

The creative process is lengthy and is a calming and engaging procedure. She begins by painting an oil base layer on the canvas followed by spray paint and various immiscible liquid paints. Wonderful patterns and textures emerge as they interact together. They are built up gradually until the painting is balanced and aesthetically pleasing.

Painted on a slimline box canvas , the sides of which have been sprayed burgundy red. The painting has been embellished with a high gloss resin over the centre of the painting. This gives an extra dimension and a very contemporary twist.

Signed and sealed on the reverse. Strung ready to hang.
