Hellebore Acrylic

Hellebore is the third in my series of stained glass effect paintings inspired by the art of Tiffany and Georgia O' Keeffe.

I used Golden acrylics in magenta for the beautiful outer petals with touches of blue for the darker lower ones and a stronger mix of both colours for the inner petals. For the centre I used green gold, as with the leaves, with green added also. I added touches of white to some petals for highlights.
I used black liquid acrylic to paint a bold outline to represent lead in a stained glass panel.
For the background I used blue and applied a textured effect to catch the light and to create a paint on glass effect.

The painting has my signature on the front and on the back my name with the paintings title, date and dimensions.

All paintings are securely packaged in acid free tissue paper, cellophane, ridged cardboard/one inner card backed envelope and one outer padded envelope.
My paintings are sent via Royal Mail.
