Subject: an impressionist painting of some poppies. The bright colors of the red flowers, their buds and of the sky blue backgound with all their shades celebrate the arrival of the warm spring days in the countryside. A nice gift for all occasions.

For this painting I used both painting brushes and palette knife to give to the subject its depth in space and its touch of impressionism and I used a Winsor&Newton stretched canvas and high quality oil colors.
