A play on words on the title of Gai Paris, between the district and the jubilation of the Olympic Games that put Paris in the spotlight. A cheerful and sparkling painting, coloured to change the greyness, representative of the ambient joy, and a bit of mystery trying to decipher the texts. Linen canvas, covered with modeling past to create irregularities and reliefs, gold leaf and a collage of text and recycled leather. Framed under glass, but the painting is protected with varnish, which can be removed to give the work more relief. Framed size: 25.8x19.8 cm.
