Autumn Sun

Autumn is largely described by it's changing of colours from greens to yellow, orange, reds etc, but the autumn browns can sometimes be overlooked. For this painting I wanted to show that the autumn browns can be just as beautiful, we see a diluted autumnal sun through swaying ornamental long grass.

Finest oil paint on thin edge canvas, mixed media used to form a textured effect. Edges left white on this canvas.
