Zoom is a welded, mild steel sculpture. The colours are achieved by applying heat with a blowtorch and then protected with clear, acrylic varnish. It belongs to a collection of sculptures made in 2019 called "IMAGINAL WORLD".

"IMAGINAL WORLD" is a collection inspired by a mental phenomenon called Hypnagogia. Hypnagogia may occur during the transition from wakefulness to sleep and vice versa, this "threshold consciousness" phase includes hallucinations and lucid thinking. Hypnagogic hallucinations are the sensory experience of the transitional state from wakefulness to sleep and Hypnopompic hallucinations from sleep to wakefulness. These sensory experiences (sights or visions) are the basis for Corne´s creations. Hypnagogia can also be induced through meditation.

Zoom would make a strong statement in any room at home or office and would be a fantastic gift to those who want something unique.
