Liquid Art 34 The result of a mid air collision of 2 water drops traveling towards each other at a speed faster than you can blink All prints are 'Limited Edition' prints. Each print will be in a run of 50. Each print will be numbered , signed and dated on the reverse eg.'Liquid Art No1 - 1 of 50' and signed - date'. Each print will have its own Certificate of Authenticity. Prints are sized at 16" x 12" (406mm x 305mm) and mounted onto a 20" x 16" (508mm x 406mm ) 100% acid free Mount. The board has a neutral ph non-acidic white core, which will stay white for the life time of the board. All our mount boards are of conservation quality and conform to Fine Art Trade Guild standards. Frames: Choosing a frame to suit the image it contains is often tricky and awkward for a photographer, especially if it is one he/she hopes to sell. It is difficult to know what a buyer wants in terms of colour and style of a frame or mount. In this respect I have taken a safe route and erred on the cautious side by supplying all my frames in the Henry Ford fashion - Black (with a Black mount/White core ). All frames are of a responsibly sourced quality solid natural wood complete with optically clear Acrylic glazing. Frames are individually made by qualified craftsmen to Fine Art Trade Guild standards. All frames are complimented with a rear backing or barrier board. A barrier board is a sheet of acid neutral board that will sit behind your artwork inside the frame. It helps to keep your artwork flat within the frame to avoid any ripples or creases. It can also improve the lifespan and reduce fading of your artwork over very long periods of time. Frame Profile Dimensions: Width - 40mm - Depth 17mm All frames come 'ready to hang'. Anti-Glare Acrylic Glazing: Offering excellent levels of optical clarity acrylic is an excellent alternative to glass for use in picture frames. Unlike glass, acrylic is shatterproof so it is safe for use in all environments, it’s also incredibly lightweight and so easy to work with and clean. Acrylic picture frame glass has exceptionally high levels of light transmission creating optimum optical clarity, even higher than that of glass. Acrylic glazing is half the weight of glass benefiting the production, and hanging of frames. This can be even more advantageous for use in larger size frames where weight can increase substantially. Acrylic has over ten times the impact strength than glass so it is ideal for frames hung in high traffic areas. Printing Method and Art Print Papers: These archival prints are produced using the giclee method of printing to Fine Art Trade Guild standards. Images are printed onto Hahnemuhle Fine Art paper using LUCIA UV stable 12 colour pigment inks. Prints are imaged using archival pigment inks for long life. Giclee fine art printing offers one of the highest degree of accuracy and richness of colour available in any of the reproduction techniques. For my ‘Liquid Art’ photographs I favour 2 papers from the Hahnemühle range. Hahnemühle, the German paper mill, has been producing mould made artist papers for over 425 years. Their range of products for fine art printing is an award winning collection of genuine artist papers in a variety of surfaces, base weights and structures. Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta 325gsm. Using Barium Sulphate in the premium coating ensures the typical gloss that makes this paper a genuine replacement for traditional baryta papers from analogue laboratories. It offers a bright white, high-gloss coated finish that guarantees archival standards and it meets the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness while preserving the special touch and feel of genuine art paper. Hahnemühle Fine Art Photo Gloss 260gsm. A microporous, resin coated, glossy photo paper with a beautiful surface, high opacity, excellent rigidity, bright white and with very consistent flatness. This 260gsm glossy paper features a higher stability than most of the digital photo papers and guarantees long-lasting fade resistant prints. Packaging and Delivery: Great care is taken in packaging and protecting your framed print. Each framed print will come to you flat packed and will be sized approx' 26" x 20" x 3" (660mm x 508mm x 75mm) and weighing no more than 3kgs. Your framed print will be dispatched via UPS for International destinations and via Parcel-force for UK mainland. Please be assured that I only use the highest quality materials for both the print and frames. I absolutely refuse to use cheap mass produced frames or inferior photographic papers that will fade or yellow in a short period of time.
