Original donkey artwork. A traditional pastel art on velour.
This adorable donkey in a snowy field is peering through the fence waiting for breakfast maybe!
I have used the best archival materials to produce this donkey painting and if properly cared for this painting will last for many, many years. Pastel is one of the most permanent art mediums in existence. The only difference between oil paints and pastel is the pigments are not mixed with a liquid binder which may degrade over time. The pure, bright colours of pastel artwork will not change with time or yellow.
This Donkey portrait is 16" x 12" landscape and has been mounted onto backing board for strength. It is framed in a black edged frame behind glass ready to hang.
It come with a unique Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
Once an order has been received by myself it will be posted within 1 working day via Royal Mail Next day delivery.

About the Artist
I would like to be able to say I had a great education in art and have achieved numerous great accolades selling my paintings to the rich and famous, but I can't. The truth is I am self taught and have found a measure of success with using pastels on velour. I love painting portraits of animals,...
