'War Is Hell' is a relatively large, highly detailed coloured pencil drawing on Strathmore 400 series paper. I used photographs of my own for references, the dog being my mighty Leon and the vintage Harley is one I spotted outside a pub where I was exhibiting a few years ago. The writing on the helmet is a homage to the famous photograph with slogan written by a US soldier and taken circa 1965 in Vietnam, hence the title. I've included the Union Jack flag and several others on Leon's collar as the sentiment is universal. Measuring approximately 19 inches x 15 inches, it is presented in a white mount within a silk finished charcoal black frame with bright silver sight edge to a total size of approximately 27 x 23 inches, ready to hang.
